Taghit - Igli

PRESENTATION OF THE SAOURA

Algeria, this fascinating country, invites guests and visitors to know this land of stunning contrasts to discover the authenticity of a country and a people whose hospitality is legendary for the pleasure of dreaming and escape.

The SAOURA, the most important of all Algerian wadis, makes his bed along the Grand Erg Occidental, it has beautiful oases which are located between Tindouf and Bechar, connected by a straight road of 800 kilometers set in the infinity.
Most reputable TAGHIT where the Marathon des Dunes will visit this year, not to mention BECHAR, its capital, which occupies an advantageous position in the heart of different routes crossing the Sahara desert.

The SAOURA enjoys a privileged position and is thus in the heart of territory across the Sahara. It features a palm grove with approximately one hundred thousand feet, which made the reputation of the region.

TAGHIT: the ideal place to recharge!

TAGHIT the enchanting unfolds to visitors to the top of an impressive dune. It's the most beautiful oasis in the Grand Erg Occidental and even the Sahara. Nest of greenery on the edge of the Grand Erg Occidental. It is an agglomeration of six ksour, scattered along the palm, and in the hollow of it, dominated by the Ksar nestled on the rocky outcrop, houses in ochre color. This is an example of historical and architectural heritage. TAGHIT arises in a surreal setting, a great beauty that dazzles and surprises up emotion. Already a great center of a Neolithic as evidenced by flints, and many animal prints found in the region, the palm and Taghit toub red houses are nestled in the hollows of golden dunes and dominated by an arrogant Ksar on its advanced rock.
Nearby, the rock carvings in Zusfana representing animals living in the region confirm the prehistoric settlement of this country. The flints themselves show a high density of population in remote periods of prehistory.
In the surrounding Igli, 50 km from Taghit, the Ksar overlooks three valleys, with its undoubted strategic military position.

KENASDA on the road Djorf Torba, this town, located 22 km from Bechar, is an essential stop on the Valley Saoura that deserves to be seen to explore the city of coal mines and its authentic ksour. It was originally the headquarters of zaouia of the Ziani Brotherhood, founded by Sidi Mohamed Ziane the seventeenth century and which still maintains today that has a unique past, a brilliance that lasts through memory of its inhabitants and all Algerians, North Africans, Europeans and others who lived there and knew her.
This edition will provide an opportunity to combine sport, nature, culture, tourism, in an idyllic environment and historic and architectural discoveries.
