Welcoming city, sit of the big Zaoui of Sidi Ahmed Ben Moussa, its fame goes past the borders.
This locality is situated to 330 km of Bechar, to 110 km of Beni Abbés and to 200 km of Adrar. Karzaz is characterized by a legendary hospitality, region of the silence hovers in the big infinite spaces, and of the dunes of golden sand that itself fade into the infinite horizon.
The Large western Erg (erg means" sea of sand" in Arabic) is one of the two enormous seas of sand that covers the major part of Algeria.
Numerous oases are in the Large Western Erg, among which the oasis of Kerzaz, situated on the road of the Tanezzouft, more or less to mid-distance between Bechar and Adrar.
